This is the reference page maintained by the Secretary of State's Office for the elections to the Tenth Chamber of Deputies of the Talossan Republic, taking place from 12-25 August/Güscht, 2009/xxx/VI.
The following nominations were received for the Tenth Chamber of Deputies elections (in alphabetical order by Talossan-language name):
A. CÎNXH / Movement for Democratic Change
Candidates: Eiric S. BÖRNATFIGLHEU, Inxheneu CROVÂ, Dieter N. VERCÁRIÂ, Carlüs C. XHERÁLTSËFIGLHEU
50-word statement: "50 words are not enough to describe all the deeds that we'll be doing."
B. RÔIBEARDÉT, Davïu (independent candidate)
50-word statement: "I have a good track record in the Chamber. I've been in the Chamber several times and I'd like to think that I've made a difference around here. I have a few things in mind for the 10th Chamber and if elected, I'll do my best to make things happen."
C. VALCÁDAC'H, Gödafrïeu (independent candidate)
50-word statement: "I like to think of myself as more pragmatic than ever before: reunification is a long way off (if it ever comes), and I'm not going to worry with it anymore. Don't make me PM or Speaker, please."
The elections will be run according to the Elections and Referendums Code of the Republic.
The Chamber election will be conducted by the DemoChoice voting software. All citizens of the Talossan Republic will receive a form with voting instructions via email - if, you do not get this email for any reason by 12 August 2009 Talossan time, please contact the Secretary of State's office immediately.
